FOMO, fueled by constant social media exposure, often results in anxiety, dissatisfaction, and a reliance on external validation. The research employs a qualitative literature review approach, drawing insights from psychology, sociology, and Christian theology. The findings highlight the importance of embracing Christian principles such as contentment and inner peace in Christ to address the psychological and spiritual effects of FOMO. By prioritizing a relationship with God over social recognition, individuals can experience a stable sense of fulfillment that is not contingent on fluctuating societal standards. Expanded internet access allows students to obtain information quickly and easily. However, this progress is also marked by an increase in various online risks, one of which is the phenomenon of cyber-grooming, which targets children and adolescents as a vulnerable group. Cyber-grooming is a manipulative process carried out by perpetrators to build emotional relationships with victims through digital media for the purpose of exploitation. This study aims to examine in-depth the pedagogical role of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers in addressing the phenomenon of cyber-grooming through a Christian values-based digital literacy approach. The method used was literature observation, reviewing various relevant academic sources. The results of the study indicate that CRE teachers play a strategic role in shaping the awareness of digital learners, who are raised through the integration of Christian faith values such as love, self-control, wisdom, and responsibility. This approach serves not only as a preventative measure against digital threats but also as a means of holistic character development. Generation Z possesses unique traits, including strong technological skills, multitasking abilities, and quick reactions to social issues. However, they also tend to be individualistic, less independent, and have limited social skills. Popular culture, heavily influenced by mass media and digital trends, significantly shapes the identity and values of Generation Z. This culture often promotes individualism, materialism, and hedonism, which conflict with Christian values like love, humility, and service. Consequently, Generation Z may struggle to understand and apply Christian values in their lives. The study employs a literature review method to gather information from various sources regarding the impact of popular culture on Generation Z's grasp of Christian values. Findings suggest that popular culture can obscure their understanding of these values, leading them to prefer spectacular and emotional spiritual experiences over a deeper understanding of doctrine. Therefore, Christian Religious Education (CRE) plays a crucial role in assisting Generation Z in comprehending and embodying Christian values. PAK must adopt relevant and engaging strategies, utilizing digital media and interactive learning methods.
