Digitalization and Church Leadership: Challenges and Opportunities for Contemporary Evangelism

In the rapidly evolving digital era, church leadership and evangelistic missions face both significant challenges and new opportunities that demand strategic adaptation and technological innovation. The implementation of the Great Commission—including evangelism, apostolic ministry, pastoral care, discipleship, and church multiplication—must align with digital dynamics, especially in contexts constrained by geography, time, and limited human resources. Contemporary church leaders are required to possess not only the ability to discern the boundaries of their ministry but also the skill to delegate responsibilities wisely and collectively. This paper explores a collaborative model of church leadership grounded in biblical principles, as illustrated by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 3:6 (NIV): “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” Through both theological and practical approaches, this study maps out a ministry structure that fosters communal learning within the body of Christ. The primary aim is to build effective ministerial synergy that supports sustainable church growth and the expansion of the gospel message. By strategically utilizing digital media—including social platforms, video content, and interactive applications—churches can enhance the effectiveness of their communication and outreach. This paper highlights the urgency of cross-functional collaboration and digital innovation in church leadership as a response to the realities of mission in the digital age.

Telaah Teologis: Pengajaran Tentang Konsep Hidup dalam Alkitab

Konsep hidup (life) dalam Alkitab memuat dimensi yang kaya dan mendalam, mencakup aspek fisik, spiritual, relasional, dan eskatologis. Dalam Perjanjian Lama, istilah chayyim sering digunakan untuk merujuk pada kehidupan sebagai anugerah dari Allah yang berkaitan erat dengan ketaatan kepada hukum-Nya. Sementara dalam Perjanjian Baru, kata Zoe muncul sebagai konsep hidup yang kekal dan berlimpah dalam Kristus. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengajaran Alkitab mengenai ‘hidup’ dari perspektif biblika dan teologis serta menguraikan implikasinya terhadap pembinaan iman umat Kristen, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan teologi dan pembentukan karakter. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kepustakaan, ditemukan bahwa pengajaran tentang hidup dalam Alkitab bukan hanya berbicara tentang keberadaan biologis, tetapi lebih jauh lagi menyentuh relasi dengan Allah, kebermaknaan eksistensi, dan panggilan hidup umat Allah. Penelitian ini menemukan konsep hidup sebagai nilai teologis sentral dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen, guna menanamkan kesadaran eksistensial dan tanggung jawab etis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

A Theological Study of Jesus’ Leadership and Management as the Foundation of Church Ministry

This theological study explores the nature and implementation of Jesus’ leadership and management as a foundational paradigm for church ministry. Utilizing a phenomenological methodology within a naturalistic paradigm and grounded in a qualitative research approach, data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and comprehensive literature analysis. The findings reveal a significant disparity in the understanding and application of Jesus’ leadership and management principles within ecclesial contexts. This discrepancy is primarily attributed to four interrelated factors: (1) insufficient comprehension of the foundational concepts of Jesus’ leadership and management, (2) a lack of clarity regarding their intended purpose within ministry,(3) weak strategic alignment with Jesus’ leadership model, and(4) the absence of Christlike character in the exercise of leadership roles within the church. Drawing upon theological frameworks and empirical insights, the study proposes a contextualized model for integrating the leadership and management of Jesus as a core foundation for effective and faithful church ministry. The research outcomes offer practical implications for local congregations in Indonesia and serve as a reference point for future theological and pastoral scholarship. All reflections and recommendations are ultimately directed toward the glorification of God.

Menelusuri Konvergensi dan Divergensi dalam Soteriologi Armeniansme dan Kalvinisme

Soteriologi merupakan salah satu topik teologis yang paling mendalam dalam tradisi Kristen. Sebagai cabang teologi yang mempelajari keselamatan, soteriologi menyentuh aspek-aspek esensial tentang bagaimana manusia dapat diperdamaikan dengan Allah. Dalam sejarah gereja, berbagai pandangan telah berkembang mengenai mekanisme keselamatan, yang terbagi menjadi banyak aliran dan tradisi. Salah satu perdebatan yang paling terkenal dan kontroversial adalah perbedaan soteriologi antara Armeniansme dan Kalvinisme. Meskipun keduanya berakar pada ajaran Kristen yang sama, keduanya menawarkan pandangan yang sangat berbeda mengenai kedaulatan Allah, kehendak bebas manusia, dan peran anugerah dalam keselamatan.
