Abstract

Justification by faith is a very fundamental truth in the teaching of Christian faith. The Apostle Paul explains this truth widely in the first eleven chapters of his letter to Romans. However, justification by faith has wide impact theologically as well as practically. This writing aims to answer the problem what are the practical impacts of this justification of faith in daily context, especially during Covid-19 struggle? To achieve this purpose, the writer will discuss Romans 5:1-12. Romans 5:1-21 will be exegeted into two big passages: Romans 5:1-11 and Romans 5:12-21 in its close and wide context as well as word study. Result of the finding shows that justification of faith becomes an objective truth that brings in subjective experience into believers’ heart in the midst of suffering.
