In this modern era, everyone feels the progress of technology that is so sophisticated. Even this technological sophistication makes some people look more busy and care about their own interests. Preoccupation with oneself can be seen in generations that are very closely related to the progress of this era. In terms of expertise in using technology, generation Z is not in doubt. But on the other hand, Generation Z is experiencing a crisis in several aspects of their life. This generation is already in the church community and in what aspects does this generation experience obstacles or difficulties. For example, the growth of their faith, the way they interact with their community. So that it helps Servants of God who serve, generation Z in this modern era. Generation Z is a part of the body of Christ today that is inseparable from other generations. The reality is that there are many differences in perspectives and ways of relating to one another. In this case, harmony in the community can occur because all parts of Christ's body take part in the work of service together. The church is the body of Christ which has members that have their own form, place and function. However, each member of the body is interrelated with one another and need each other for mutual growth. The purpose of this study is to find out first, to find out how the characteristics of generation Z and; second, to find out how generation Z grows in harmony in the communities they live in. The method used in this paper is a type of conceptual article or thought-provoking article which is a thought analysis of the problem phenomena that arise. The results of this study are Generation Z is a generation born in the midst of very rapid digital development, this is what causes internet addiction, low loyalty, cashless, smart and fast work, multitasking, likes traveling, ignorant of politics, likes to share and low ownership of goods; and Generation Z need a position to be heard with all the ideas they have, they also like challenges, so this generation needs challenges or challenges that make them the first and they can be proud of.
